Neumann KH 805 II - Subwoofer attivo DSP

The Neumann KH 805 II is a DSP-controlled active subwoofer, part of the new generation of subwoofers in the KH series. According to Neumann, it offers approximately twice the output of the KH 750 DSP and is the ideal choice to complement stereo systems based on the KH 120 II, KH 150, or KH 310, extending low-frequency reproduction down to 16 Hz with precision and control. The driver is a 265 mm (10-inch) long-throw woofer featuring ELFF (Extremely Linear Force Factor) technology, powered by a 222 W amplifier. The free-field response ranges from 16 to 750 Hz (+-6 dB) and from 18 to 310 Hz (+-3 dB); the maximum sound pressure level is 110 dB in half-space, rising to 116 dB when placed in a corner. The front-ported bass-reflex cabinet is made of wood with an aluminum panel. The stereo bass management system operates with a fixed 80 Hz crossover (24 dB/octave). External bass management mode and LFE modes are also available, along with step-by-step phase control and an adjustable 30 Hz low-cut filter. The KH 805 II offers balanced analog inputs and outputs via XLR and AES3 digital input/output via BNC, with conversion up to 192 kHz. Compatible with the MA 1 automatic alignment system and controllable via Ethernet, the KH 805 II integrates seamlessly with Neumann monitors and delivers deep, linear bass for studio, post-production, and broadcast applications.
