The i73 PRO Edge is designed for musicians, producers, and sound engineers and, aims an easy path back to that cherished analog experience that has inspired music creation since the early 1970s. The i73 PRO Edge incorporates Class A circuitry with balanced transformers, the same as the classic 73-style preamplifiers, so you'll be able to capture your audio signals with all the charm and classic analog feel, but for the first time, right on your computer. As with any Heritage Audio 73-style preamplifier, a three-way input is implemented, whether you want to capture vocals through the powerful MIC preamp with up to 70dB of gain, a guitar/electric bass through the fast and dynamic JFET DI or with LINE inputs, you'll be able to route whatever signal may be on your DAW with true studio quality. The i73 PRO Edge also allows you to connect eight additional analog channels via ADAT input/output. But a 73-style Class A preamplifier is just the gateway to the fully analog experience we've been looking for...a low-latency monitoring mixing console has been developed from the ground up so you always hear what you need, whether through two different sets of speakers or 2 different headphone signals, each with its own configurable and independent mix within the Heritage Audio MIXER running inside the i73 PRO Edge. Process your tracks in real time inside the Heritage Audio MIXER with a comprehensive and ever-growing set of tools modeled on Heritage Audio's collection of devices running internally on the i73 PRO Edge's DSP. Simultaneously record both DRY and WET streams from the MIXER to your DAW. You can also insert native third-party plug-ins via the MIXER's Aux channels. i73 PRO Edge gives you the right tools to do monitoring of your work just like in the golden era of recording studios, so you can capture your tracks in your DAW and complete the job by taking advantage of a modern home studio workflow.
