100G SMPTE-2110 bridge designed for dual-100G redundant broadcast infrastructures supporting HD, Ultra HD and 8K immersive workflows, dual 100G camera ports, dedicated 10G accessory channel, NMOS control, dual redundant 100-240V AC power supplies
The Blackmagic Studio. Bridge 100G converts a single 100G SMPTE-2110 Ethernet connection into a redundant broadcast system with dual 100G connections.
It also features two 100G Ethernet connections for cameras, which can be combined to provide a total bandwidth of over 100 Gbps, allowing two cameras, such as the URSA Cine 12K 100G, to be integrated into a redundant broadcast system. It also includes a separate 10G Ethernet channel for accessories, an NMOS control port, and two redundant internal power supplies.
User benefits
Operational reliability thanks to full 100G redundancy and dual internal AC power supplies
Easily integrate into SMPTE-2110 workflows with 2022-7 redundancy for business continuity
Management of ultra-high bandwidth streams to connect 12K cameras
Fast monitoring via front-panel LCD for immediate verification without external tools
Future scalability with native support for HD, Ultra HD, and immersive 8K
Areas of use
IP broadcast production based on SMPTE-2110 with 2022-7 redundancy for business continuity
Integration of URSA Cine 12K 100G cameras into high-bandwidth 100G infrastructures
Connection of 100G multi-camera systems in television studios, control rooms, and live production centers
Transportation of Ultra HD and immersive 8K streams over 100G networks for advanced post and live workflows
Broadcast Infrastructures Redundant systems requiring dual AC power and network failover
Installations in OB vans and mobile environments requiring compact 100G bridging in 1 RU
Mixed 100G/10G systems with flow separation for accessories, control, and external devices
