The Control 29AV-WH-1 is a speaker from the Control Contractor series that delivers extremely high-fidelity vocal reproduction thanks to an exceptionally flat frequency response across a wide frequency range-all in a compact speaker. The coverage area is well-defined and controlled, thanks in part to the ability to rotate the high-frequency horn, allowing for both vertical and horizontal placement. Magnetic shielding also allows it to be placed near video monitors without causing interference. It is equipped with a top-quality transformer for connection to 70- or 100-volt distribution lines, featuring minimal insertion loss and reduced saturation, but it can also operate in low-impedance mode. The unique, patented "Invisiball" mounting system (included with every unit) enables quick and easy installation while enhancing theft protection. This system allows the speaker to be easily rotated and angled within a wide range relative to its axis. A more space-saving bracket-mounted installation is also possible using the optional MTC-29UB accessory. Weather resistance has been maximized thanks to the Kevlar-cone woofer and the pure titanium high-frequency driver diaphragm. The grille is durable and lined with foam to minimize water ingress. The rust-resistant nickel-zinc input terminals, along with the gasketed cover included in the package, protect the speaker's input connections. Finally, the Control 29AV-WH-1 is equipped with JBL's exclusive "SonicGuard" protection system, which is virtually inaudible to the listener, making the speaker more reliable while maintaining full reproduction fidelity. The finish is white, but it can be painted to suit any architectural requirements.
