Grounding: separate ground contact connected to connector housing and front panel, no connection to pin 1. Smaller XLR sockets, higher packing density (23 mm center to center). Tulip contact design with high contact pressure for maximum durability. Front panel cutout and PCB design 100% compatible with A-series. Integrates a retention spring instead of a latch.
