Radial Engineering's Reamp HP is a device made specifically for Reamping that can transform the signal from a headphone output into a perfect feed for amplifiers and pedals, simplifying the Reamping operation itself from any audio device. The efficiency of its transformer-isolated inputs and control functions enable clean recordings and creative versatility.
Reamp HP is designed to accept the signal from your interface's headphone output jack making it easy to connect between equipment. Simply assign the track you want to submit to Reamp to the right channel of the headphone output and you are ready to run guitar, bass or even vocal tracks through the amp to record and experiment with new sounds. You can also assign stereo tracks to Reamp HP and sum them using the dedicated mono switch on the device.
Reamp HP is equipped with 1/4 and 3.5 mm inputs, so you are not limited to just Reamping tracks from your audio interface; in fact, you can also connect a smartphone or tablet to create new sounds by combining dedicated sound-making apps with your favorite pedals and amplifiers. The Reamp HP features an isolation transformer and grounding switch to eliminate hum and noise and help produce a clean recording, as well as a level control to fine-tune the output signal.
Reamp HP connects directly to the headphone jack of the audio interface, without having to replug or use limited outputs. Connect the output of Reamp HP to your pedals and an amplifier and record the results in your audio software.
Reamp HP is equipped with a 3.5 mm mini-jack input that can accept signals from smartphones and tablets, so you can process sounds generated by your favorite apps through effects pedals and amplifiers.
