Korg nanoPAD2

Like all nanoSERIES2 controllers, the nanoPAD2 is compact, lightweight, and just the right size to be placed in front of your laptop. nanoPAD2 offers 16 dynamics-sensitive pads that can be used on 4 different banks, for a total of 64 pads, and an X-Y touch pad. Plus, with the new Touch Scale function derived from the Kaossilator PRO you can intuitively play musical phrases directly from the touchpad. The Gate Arp function-also derived from the Kaossilator Pro-will serve to transmit MIDI notes that are arpeggiated in sequence and synchronized to tempo settings (Tap Tempo and Temp Sync). By combining the Touch Scale and Gate arp functions you will be able to play synchronized melodic and rhythmic phrases at the desired speed by simply swiping your finger on the touchpad, and/or pressing the pads.

The nanoPAD2 is programmable in detail by the Korg Kontrol Editor software, which is free to download from the Korg website and can be installed on your PC, or Mac computer.
