RADIAL ENGINEERING's Pro-Iso is a +4 dB to -10 dB passive stereo isolator converter that uses a transformer capable of highlighting the vocal range. This makes Pro-Iso an ideal choice for applications such as interviews, news broadcasts, or generally on all spoken speech.

Pro-Iso's passive electronics design uses 100% discrete components. It features a set-and-forget level control to attenuate the input signal so as to avoid overloads to the target device. Output connections include a pair of ¼ stereo connectors, a set of RCAs, and a mini 3.5 mm (1/8) for interfacing with a mini recorder or laptop computer. Transformer isolation helps eliminate hum and noise caused by ground loops while eliminating the flow of stray DC currents.

The Pro-Iso makes it easy to convert the balanced line-level output of a preamplifier to any consumer audio device at -10dB. Transformer isolation is further advantageous as it eliminates hum and noise caused by ground loops.
