RADIAL ENGINEERING's BigShot EFX is a True-Bypass Effects Loop Switcher that allows two different effects loops to be set and recalled without disturbance or interference, thus offering very efficient on-stage management of even highly articulated effects pedalboards.

Professional management of pedals on stage

BigShot EFX allows you to include or exclude an entire chain of effects pedals from the signal path via a single footswitch, providing a simplified and efficient way to manage multiple pedals on stage. There are two effects loops that can be activated individually or simultaneously with Loop-1 feeding Loop-2 for even more creative solutions. You can also set Loop-2 as a mute for silent tuning or instrument switching. Each Loop is True-Bypass, allowing you to keep noisy pedals out of the signal path.

Using EFX with two pedal chains

This configuration allows the connection of an Effects Loop A: Distortion/Overdrive and an Effects Loop B with Enhancer/Chorus/Delay, via the two footswitches you can select either Loop according to your artistic needs.

Using BigShot with an effects loop and tuner

Excluding pedals and tuners from the signal chain often reduces noise and load on the pickups. This results in a more natural and linear tone. Use the EFX 1 loop for pedals. Move the Mute switch to the top and use the EFX-2 loop as a Mute while sending the signal to the tuner.

Using EFX as an ABY switcher for amplifier

If you are using an amplifier that does not have channel switching, connect EFX SEND Loop-1 to channel 1 of the amplifier and SEND-2 to channel 2,at which point you can activate each channel individually, and also add effects pedals between BigSHot EFX and each channel.
