Radial Engineering Switchbone V2

Radial Engineering's Switchbone V2 is an amp selector and booster pedal for guitar. It offers maximum control over any setup consisting of two or three amps, selecting them quietly without humming or swooshing with the ability to activate a clean boost suitable for solos.

Amplifier control

Switchbone V2 allows you to switch and combine up to three guitar amplifiers without introducing distortion, switching noise or hum in the signal path. Most importantly, keeping the timbre and naturalness of your instrument intact. Switchbone V2 can be used as a standard ABY switcher with A and B outputs that can be used separately or together, or the tuner output can be reused to power a third amplifier. A built-in power booster on the output provides up to +18db of ultra-clean boost with the ability to add a mid-boost for extra sustain when performing solos.

Applications of Switchbone V2

Standard ABY configuration

Switchbone is a high-performance ABY designed to transmit the natural sound of your instrument to your amplifiers without introducing noise or artifacts.

Use as an ABC amplifier selector

Use the tuner/out-C as a third output to select between three different amplifiers. Transformer isolation and buffered outputs eliminate ground loops and noise.

Use as a channel selector

For older amplifiers, Switchbone can be used to drive the two amplifier channels so you can switch between them. Use the Slingshot output to control amplifier settings such as reverb.
