EARTHWORKS QTC40

This microphone delivers an exceptionally wide frequency response, superb impulse response, high sensitivity, and the famous Earthworks sound-with such low inherent noise that it's hard to believe it comes from such a small capsule. The frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz is generally linear within +/-0.5dB, but more importantly, its time response is the most linear ever seen. Its exemplary impulse response allows it to transduce waveforms perfectly! It is excellent for ambient recording, but it is also remarkable for close-up recording and capable of capturing the true dimension and sonic texture of many complex sound sources. Each microphone comes with an individual frequency response graph in the 10Hz-40kHz range.
