KORG GA-2 is a compact guitar and bass tuner with a modern design that is easy to use. It features a large display that shows note or string names in all conditions, with the ability to select the operating mode according to the instrument being used, high speed and accuracy in frequency detection, advanced functions, and an operating range of up to 200 hours.
The GA series that has quickly become very popular among guitarists and bassists, thanks to its precision his of functions and ease of use, now renews its Look. KORG's virtual needle meter displays note and string names with speed and accuracy; it is now about four times larger, making it even easier to read the values. Two LEDs, one green the other red, signal changes in pitch making tuning itself easier.
GA-2 is a pocket-sized tuner that is lightweight and easy to carry anywhere, its design is sleek and ergonomic, comfortable to hold. The instrument has a new battery compartment with a mechanism that allows them to be replaced by sliding the entire body, without risking losing the cover itself.
GA-2 can tune both guitar and bass, the frequency sensing operation is really simple; it supports 7-string guitars (B to E), and 6-string basses (B to C); the high-sensitivity internal microphone makes it possible to use it with acoustic guitars as well.
Quinta Flat Tuning mode, supports special tunings used in the Heavy Metal style, to give extra body and depth to the sound, thus supporting even extra long scale guitars, with 5 more frets than a traditional guitar.
You can adjust the reference frequency (Chorister or Diapason) from 430 to 450 Hz, so you can tune to the standard you need or prefer.
In addition to visual tuning with the help of the Meter, Sound Mode produces a reference sound signal from the built-in speaker, so you can also tune your guitar or bass by ear.
The low-power design incredibly allows continuous battery life for about 100 hours with regular zinc-carbon batteries, and about 200 hours with alkaline batteries.
