KORG's AW-LT100B is the ideal tool for tuning your electric or acoustic bass. It is a Clip On type tuner, lightweight, compact, with a solid Clip grip that allows you to leave it attached to the instrument and constantly check intonation. Up to 100 hours of operating time on a single AAA battery.
KORG's Clip tuners can be attached directly to the instrument for simplified tuning. The series consists of two models:
AW-LT100B possesses ample operating autonomy with approximately 100 hours of operation on a single AAA battery. The body is ultra-light and operations extremely intuitive. For the first time in a series of KORG tuners, there are two models dedicated to guitar and bass. Each uses specific circuitry, reduced to the essentials, with exceptional Meter response. In addition, the AW-LT100B model features improved sensitivity in detecting ultra-low frequencies, making it possible to use this tuner even with 5- or 6-string basses.
AW-LT100B uses a common single AAA battery, from which it manages to get 100 hours of continuous operation (alkaline battery). This is a significantly greater amount of time than other tuners that use Button Cell type batteries, and with a significant reduction in cost. It is possible to use this unit for a long time without having to replace the battery (to be purchased separately).
Although these tuners employ a AAA battery, itself much heavier than a Cell Button battery, their tuner body has been made even lighter to further reduce the overall weight of the unit, which is around 32 g. (1.13 oz.). This allows you to attach it to your bass without practically feeling its presence!
AW-LT100B is designed specifically for bass, and uses a chromatic mode with dedicated circuitry, which pushes its detection sensitivity down to the ultra-low frequency range i.e. below 100 Hz. This feature makes it particularly suitable for use with 5- and 6-string basses, notoriously problematic with common tuners.
The VA-type color LCD display provides excellent visibility, thanks to high brightness backlight, high contrast and wide viewing angle. This ensures constant and clear display of tuning status at all times.
When used in Strobe Mode AW-LT100B enables ultra-high precision tuning, with a tolerance of only +-0.1 cent. A feature this very important in any operating condition, whether in studio recording sessions, or on a Live stage, where speed and precision tuning are essential for any musician, professional or not.
You can choose from three different display modes to suit your needs or personal taste. The standard Regular, strobe and half-strobe modes, which allow you to detect and display even the slightest differences in frequency, thanks to the Meter's fluctuation speed.
AW-LT100B has a simple and intuitive user interface, and allows full access to all functions even with one hand. This is thanks to a special triangular Shuttle Switch placed on the left and right, and all operations can be conducted by rotating, clicking, or moving up/down this one control, easily and stress-free!
The Clip's contact surface area has been increased to the maximum possible, thus ensuring great stability in securing the tuner, even in a wide variety of headstock thicknesses. The Clip's dual mechanism also allows the viewing angle to be adjusted, allowing the device to be placed where you prefer on the instrument.
Calibration allows the tuner to be adapted to various Concert Choristers. The Auto Power Off and Memory Backup functions, increase the versatility and ability of this instrument to support your performance.
