Instant-read LED display

A dedicated LED is used to display the note name and pitch, the light intensity transmits the movement of the virtual needle very accurately, when the tuning is correct, the left and right LEDs flash together with the center LED. Pitchclip 2 thus highlights the correct tuning of the instrument, with excellent visibility in all environmental conditions.

Thanks to a new mechanism, Pitchclip 2's Clip seal has been greatly improved and now ensures perfect attachment even when the instrument is subjected to stress during a Performance without the risk of falling off; the Clip is also rubber finished to protect the instrument's attachment point. Pitchclip 2 can be used with any stringed instrument from ukulele to electric guitar.

Improved accuracy in detecting low frequencies

On Pitchclip 2 KORG was able to greatly improve detection sensitivity in low frequencies after thoroughly testing the mounting position of the piezo sensor in the Clip section. This optimization is even more evident on Drop tunings of 5- or 6-string basses, instruments considered problematic for tuning stability.

Display with Reverse function to vertically reverse the Meter display

The Reverse function is particularly useful for those users who fix the tuner to the back side of the headstock to make it less visible from the front view and for left-handed players.

To activate this function, simply with the instrument off, long press the switch; this allows you to tune your instrument regardless of whether the tuner is attached to the front or back of the instrument and independently of its orientation.

24-hour battery life and automatic power-off function

A single widely available lithium battery (CR2032) provides approximately 24 hours of continuous operation. The tuner also has an auto power-off function (Auto Power OFF), which automatically cuts off the power supply after about three minutes of inactivity, so battery life is optimized for maximum runtime.
