The PUV-2608TX is an HDBase. T2 extender with a built-in multi-format switcher, featuring two HDMI inputs, one Display. Port input, and one USB-C input. It supports USB, audio embedding, and reverse Po. H, like all models in the PUV-2600 series. It allows transmission of uncompressed audio / video, Ethernet, USB, IR, and RS-232 signals over a single Cat.6/7 cable up to 100 meters.
The HDMI, Display. Port, and USB-C inputs support resolutions up to 4K and #64; 60 Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit), with support for up to 12-bit Deep Color and 10/12-bit HDR. The analog audio input can be embedded in the HDBase. T signal. Sources with bandwidth exceeding HDBase. T limits are automatically downscaled to 1080p.
When paired with the PUV-2606RX standard receiver or PUV-2600RX matrix receiver, the system offers three selectable USB hosts (Type-B/C) that allow access to five USB ports (Type-A) on the receivers, enabling an extremely flexible KVM configuration. (N.B. Only one USB host can be active at a time). The USB-C input can also provide up to 60W of power to the connected device, a feature only available when the transmitter is powered locally. All USB ports support speeds up to USB 3.0.
The PUV-2608TX integrates advanced signal management features, such as automatic source selection via signal detection, EDID management for each input, HDCP management, and event automations via RS-232 or CEC. Control is available via Web. GUI, Telnet, RS-232, or front panel buttons.
The unit can be powered locally via a 24V power supply, required for the 60 W USB-C function, or via Po. H from a compatible PUV-2600 series receiver.
HDBase. T output supports resolutions up to 4K and #64; 60 Hz (4:2:0, 8-bit) with automatic conversion to 1080p for sources that exceed HDBase. T bandwidth limitations
