With a specially developed polypropylene cabinet and an elegant new look, the new PromMaxX series represents the next step in the evolution of classic sound with a portable system. Equipped with custom FBT loudspeakers and B&C compression drivers, PromMaxX is a combination of quality and true Made in Italy style. Inside is a specially manufactured FBT amplifier module with switching power supply. For low frequencies, 700W RMS power is delivered by a high-efficiency Class D amplifier, which boasts extremely low total harmonic distortion. For high frequencies, 200W RMS are delivered by a Class H / AB type chosen to guarantee the highest audio performance in the high frequencies. Also inside is a powerful digital signal processing platform (DSP) made accessible to users of all levels through an intuitive graphic interface. Located on the rear panel is a DSP display with push-to-select menu choices. Users can choose from 6 equalisation presets, each carefully designed by FBT engineers. In addition, 2 more user-customisable presets are available, comprising 5 parametric equalisers each: a high-pass filter, mic/line selector, bass level, mid-range, treble settings, and a delay line between 0 and 3.5 metres. Finally, users can exclusively choose between two limiter modes, max-spl or max-quality, to best suit their performance.
