Electro-Voice EKX-15

The EKX-15 from Electro Voice is a two-way, full-range passive loudspeaker. The EKX series was unveiled at the 2015 NAMM show: it is the latest addition to Electro Voice's portable loudspeaker range and features the legendary EV sound quality and the reliability of the latest technologies. All in a truly compact housing, suitable for many applications: DJ sets, small concerts, or fixed installations. The EKX series ranks above the ZLX and ELX series and below the ETX.

This loudspeaker is equipped with ultra-high sensitivity transducers that Electro Voice has patented and which are made following the waveguide design of the original EV design that allows SPLs of up to 132 dB. The exterior is black with a durable steel grille to protect the loudspeaker components and allow for good ventilation, This speaker achieves optimum coverage between 60° and 90°, and with a maximum 40° tilt for the monitor. On the sides are two metal handles for easy transport and installation, not a problem in a case weighing just 23 kg. Via the practical stand adapter, the speaker can also serve as a satellite, or be placed on the floor on the 4 rubber feet. The EKX-15 is versatile and with truly superior sound quality.
