Its Class A JFET input stage, combined with a custom 73-DI transformer and power supply via +48 V phantom, ensures a dynamic, transparent sound that is rich in musical harmonics. It is the ideal choice for musicians and sound engineers who desire the analog quality and vintage timbre typical of Heritage preamplifiers, in a compact, rugged format. The 73 DI ONE offers a fully Class A signal path with high-impedance JFET J109 input, designed to fully preserve instrument response and dynamics. The output stage, based on 2N3055 metal-can transistors, drives a custom-made Heritage Audio 73-DI transformer, resulting in a warm, full-bodied tone with full bass and extreme clarity in the treble. It features a -15 dB PAD attenuator to handle high-intensity sources and a Ground Lift switch to eliminate any ground loops. Power is conveniently supplied via +48 V phantom power from the mixer or preamplifier, with no need for external power supplies. Every construction detail, from the gold-plated connectors to the reinforced steel chassis, is designed for maximum reliability in the studio and on stage.
