The new version of the 8351s, the 8351B, vastly improves the performance of the previous version through increased sound pressure, additional filters for room acoustic compensation, an equalized delay, and improved high-frequency response. They offer the same outstanding sound image as their smaller sisters 8331 and 8341 but with the added benefit of a higher SPL for listening at a greater distance. In addition, we have even greater low-frequency extension.

Like all models in The Ones series, the 8351s allow for faster and more decisive mix choices, enabling intense work rhythms over longer sessions without fatigue-this is because the main cause of listening stress, namely an unnatural sound image, is minimized.

The 8351B is able to control frequency directivity with optimal precision thanks to the integrated waveguide (DCW) with two hidden woofers; orientation can be either horizontal or vertical. Being part of the Genelec SAM family, the 8351Bs can be configured, calibrated and controlled via GLM software, making them adapt to your acoustic space and compensate for any issues arising from the acoustic influence of the room. Thus, regardless of whether you are working in stereo, surround or other immersive formats, you will be able to produce mixes that will translate smoothly to other rooms and listening systems.
