The PB-R220S+ is a 220 Wh battery with V-mount for cine and ENG cameras with a sealed double-shell construction for heavy-duty use, waterproof to IP54 and drop-proof from a height of 1.5 meters.

The battery supports high loads, fast charging, and a digital display of performance data for use on location.

1.5-meter drop resistance

The PB-R220S+ features a sealed dual-case construction that ensures waterproof performance to IP54 in rain, snow, and other weather conditions.

The double housing with rubber cover is also robust enough to withstand drops from a height of 1.5 meters from any angle.

Capacity 220 Wh / 15.3 Ah

Consisting of 24 high-quality 18650 battery cells, it achieves a high capacity of 220 Wh / 15.3 Ah.

It can be used for about 9 hours for normal ENG cameras and about 2.5 hours for ARRI ALEXA.

High load for film cameras

200 W / 16 A continuous load

The PB-R220S+ delivers a high load of at least 200 W/16 A even at 1% power to operate cameras and powerful on-camera equipment simultaneously.

The heavy-duty cells ensure a longer service life than batteries with normal loads, even under prolonged full load.

Fast charging with 100 W/6 A

With the SWIT 6A fast charger

The PB-R220S+ supports fast charging at 6A via the SWIT PC-P461S or S-3812S fast charger, saving more than 50% of the charging time.

The 220 Wh PB-R220S+ battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 2.3 hours and fully charged in 3.5 hours.

Digital performance information

Information about the 8-LED display + SONY&RED

The PB-R220S+ is equipped with innovative 8-LED power indicators. When the battery is free or charging, the LEDs show the current charge status in percent. When the battery is running low, the LEDs show the remaining operating time at the current discharge power with an accuracy of 15 minutes.

The battery features the intelligent SMBUS system, which is compatible with the information system of SONY and RED cameras and can display the remaining operating time in minutes on the camera's viewfinder.

D-Tap connector

There is a D-Tap DC output connector on the top of the battery that can be used to power other camera equipment.

The maximum output current of the D-Tap socket is 10 A.
