The 4266 omnidirectional headset microphone combines the legendary sound of the 4066 omnidirectional capsule with a lightweight, flexible headband. This condenser microphone is quick and easy to set up and offers clean, transparent sound with great dynamics. The capsule is the same as the 4066, but is attached to an interchangeable boom. Like all microphones in the range, the omnidirectional 4266 headset microphone guarantees precise and natural intelligibility and very high SPL handling. Users can both speak and sing into the microphone without any sign of distortion. This microphone is available as an earset, resting on one ear, or as a headset, resting on both ears. The earset versions are the quickest to put on and are often the best choice when miking needs to be simple and fast, for example for use in conferences. The headset variants sit securely around the head and are ideal for vocal performance situations where the wearer will not feel the presence of the microphone. Both models are ergonomically designed to fit comfortably and easily. It adapts to any ear size and head shape, sits securely, and is barely visible. By rotating the arm and flex mount, the microphone can be easily used on the left or right ear. A connector that separates the cable from the microphone boom allows for quick replacement of faulty cables and/or wireless connectors. Three boom lengths are available to suit different applications and head sizes: 40 mm, 90 mm, and 110 mm. At 110 mm, it is the standard choice for most users.
