The V BEAT is a dynamic microphone designed for use with snare drums and toms, but it can also be used on sound sources with high acoustic pressure, such as electric guitar cabinets or horns. Its capsule provides a highly detailed, natural-sounding sonic character on snare drums and toms of any size.

The V BEAT's ultra-compact design allows it to take up minimal space above the drum, leaving room for drumsticks and cymbals. With XLR connectors and pole attachment located on the bottom of the mic and parallel to each other, cable clutter is minimized.

Its pivot also allows the orientation of the microphone to be adjusted with great precision allowing perfect positioning in any part of the skin to change the sonic character and to minimize returns from other drums and cymbals.
