Arturia MiniFreak Vocoder Edition

MiniFreak Vocoder Edition is a new version of the now “classic” Arturia MiniFreak, featuring a 16-band vocoder and a gooseneck microphone, all with a striking new look.

Arturia MiniFreak is a hybrid polyphonic synthesizer that combines two digital synthesis engines with analog filters, stereo effects, advanced modulation options, sequencers, and a high-quality 37-key slim keyboard. It is a beautifully crafted instrument that takes one of the French company's greatest successes of recent years, the MicroFreak, to a new level of playability.

The MiniFreak's dual digital synthesis engine features more than 20 different modes and can be used individually or in cascade, even to process the output of each of the two synth engines for an even more powerful and effective result. The six digital voices interact perfectly with the analog filters, creating a total and perfect balance between the cleanliness of the digital sound and the richness of the analog circuit.

The MiniFreak's extended modulation matrix provides control over every single parameter of the sound, with unique features already successfully introduced in the MicroFreak, such as Spice & Dice randomization. With stereo outputs and 3 digital FX slots with 10 types of effects to choose from, you have everything you need to take your sound to new levels of expression, ready for the mix, with chorus, distortion, and other high-quality effects.

Despite its penchant for experimental sound design, MiniFreak is also an extremely expressive instrument. Its 37-key velocity-sensitive keyboard with aftertouch and sequencer and arpeggiator features make it a perfect performance synthesizer and a lot of fun to play, thanks in part to its unique randomization features.

The MiniFreak hardware synthesizer also comes with a dedicated software counterpart, allowing you to fully integrate its unique hybrid sound and presets into a DAW and vice versa. Using identical architecture and synthesis engines, it offers a virtual experience mirroring that of the synthesizer itself, at no additional cost.
