Versatile, future-packed deck for aspiring DJs. Developed for DJs and VJs and inspired by our standard CDJ-1000 series, the CDJ-400 is a flexible, affordable performance player for both aspiring club DJs and home use. The CDJ-400 allows you to play your MP3 collection stored on CD-R/RW discs, USB devices, external hard drives and general portable devices. In addition, the deck features the world's first Scratch Jog Effects, with three scratch effects and an amazing new Loop Divide function.

Almost all buttons and slider functions can send MIDI data via the USB output, allowing the deck to control external DJ software such as our DJS, an MP3 mixing software that emulates a full Pioneer DJ system on your PC. It includes 8 innovative effects, a waveform display with cue/loop point management, and the ability to convert CD/line signals to MP3 format through easy music library management. Other third-party applications are supported, however, such as Serato Scratch LIVE on PC or MAC. The CDJ-400 deck is the perfect companion to the DJM-400 mixer and together they provide the defenitvo home party set-up.
